Complaints about advertising may be directed to the industry self-regulatory organization Ad Standards Canada.
Complaints about product and service misrepresentation can be directed to provincial consumer protection departments or agencies and to the federal Competition Bureau.
Consumers Council of Canada is a member organization of Ad Standards Canada.
Consumers Council of Canada does not become involved in representing individual consumers concerning their specific problems, but it is interested in learning about both difficulties and great experiences consumers encounter in the marketplace.
